Sugarloaf Cove is located at milepost 73 on Minnesota Highway 61, about 70 miles north of Duluth and 6 miles south of Schroeder.
When traveling north from Duluth along Highway 61, look for mile marker 73 and a brown “Sugarloaf Cove” sign on your right. This brings you to the parking lot. A parking fee of $5.00 per car helps to sustain our operations. Parking can be paid with cash or check in the parking lot post, via QR code online, or inside the nature center building. Members receive a hang tag for free parking for the year!
There is limited accessible parking, available during building open hours. Follow the gravel driveway from the parking lot to park next to the nature center building.
