Iona’s Beach is one of the largest and least disturbed stretches of beach on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Join us for an exploration of this unique site’s geology, resident wildlife, and sights and sounds of an interesting Lake Superior Beach, as well as it’s connection to other unique sites on the North Shore. Meet in the upper parking lot area of the pull off area and hear some of the interesting stories of this area for yourself! Be prepared with good walking shoes. Free.
