Come enjoy the spring warbler migration on the North Shore. Sedna Cedarstone, Master Naturalist and long time (20 years) birder will take curious beginner level birders on a two separate hikes with varied bird habitat. On May 19 we will travel to George Manitou State Park, which offers birders marsh, lake and woodland habitats within moderately easy reach.

Bring your binoculars (we will also have some available to loan), sturdy shoes and clothing, water, snack and favorite bird poem if you wish. Visual aids of birds we hope to see will be provided. We will meet at the Sugarloaf Cove Center and drive to the birding site. The starting time is 8 am, ending 11 am, rain or shine.

Register by May 15 as group size is limited.  $10 per person; $25 per family. Please include a phone number we can reach you at the morning of the event in case we need to cancel.

  • Full refund (less processing fee) is available if participant cancels more than two weeks prior; no refund if cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior and cannot be filled by wait list (no-shows do not apply).
  • In the event of illness or injury or family emergency with prior notification, full refund will be given (less processing fee).
  • If Sugarloaf needs to cancel the program, you will receive 100% refund.
