Alternate Futures for Minnesota Forests in a Changing Climate
Lee Frelich, Director – The University of Minnesota Center for Forest Ecology
Lee is one of the foremost scientists working on climate change and its affect on our forests. You may have heard him speak on MPR about our forests. He will discuss how a changing climate may affect the trees you see in northern Minnesota in the next 100 years. Plus he will have available his unique new book, Art on the Edge of the Boreal Forest: Alternative Futures for the trees, birds and insects.
Free but we would like you to REGISTER ahead of time for either in person or Zoom.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we will be holding the meeting outdoors under a canopy. If we have inclement weather, we will move indoors and require EVERYONE, vaccinated or not, to wear a mask.
