Seeing a wolf is at the top of the must do lists of many North Shore visitors. They are beautiful but at the same time a bit mysterious and controversial. To learn more about these amazing animals, join Andrew Broz from The International Wolf Center as he presents the program Wolves at Our Door at Sugarloaf Cove.
Andrew will be covering the basics of wolf biology/predator-prey dynamics, etc. as well as discussing myths/fear of wolves, different opinions about wildlife, conflicts between people and wolves, history of wolf management, how people can coexist with wolves, importance of wild land habitat, and any questions raised by participants. You will be able to examine a wolf pelt/skull/scat (in a box of course), moose and deer antlers, etc. We look forward to seeing you there!
